The Abingdon Abbey Buildings Trust owns and manages the remains of the Abingdon Abbey on behalf of the community. We are looking to recruit a small number of wedding stewards to help us manage events at the Abbey Buildings.
Theatre stewards will responsible to attend shows at the Unicorn Theatre to meet the hirers on evening of a show, brief them on the buildings including access, health and safety and fire protocols. They should also be in attendance at the end of the evening performance to ensure that the theatre is cleared and locked up by 23:30.
These roles are not remunerated but the steward will be allocated two free tickets for the performance they are managing. Just to note the steward is not required to help with ticketing, audience management or staging, these are the responsibility of the hirers.
